Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
The goal of the CDBG program is to develop strong communities by ensuring decent affordable housing, providing services to the most vulnerable, and expanding economic opportunities for low- and moderate-income persons.
Inclusionary Zoning
The City Council adopted ordinance changes in October 2015 that require all new housing developments of 10 units or more meet a 10% workforce housing requirement.
Lead-Safe Housing
Thanks to a generous grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development we are able to offer financial assistance through forgivable loans to make income-qualified properties lead-safe.
